Vicar Philip began serving at Brickerville United Lutheran Church in August 2024.  In addition, he serves as the Vicar at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Vicar Philip is currently completing the requirements for ordination through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s Theological Education for Emerging Ministries program and attends United Lutheran Seminary – Gettysburg Campus.  Vicar Philip was raised in Southern Lancaster County, graduated from Penn Manor High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Booth University College.  Prior to entering full time ministry, Vicar Philip spent twenty-eight years in the hospitality industry working in the lodging, restaurant, non-profit, and senior living segments throughout Southern Vermont, South Central Pennsylvania, and in the City of Philadelphia.  He resides west of Lancaster City with his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law.
